07/05/09 -   CLC (UK) Ltd   to feature at the National Space Centre - Leicester on June 3rd 2009 for the Locating Objects and resources event. Supporting one of our key trading partners Business Acuity Ltd.

Brain Hartley, M.D. of Business Acuity will be presenting some of their NFC (Near Field Communication) applications, which are essentially aimed at lone worker, domiciliary care and other similar activities involving time and attendance using mobile phone technology. Supported by Nick Geraghty - Sales Director of CLC (UK)Ltd; who will be demonstrating some of the transactions happening in real time!

25/02/08 - CLC (UK) Ltd   & Reslink (Finland) forge trading partnership for supply of RFID media and the deployment of NFC   mobile solutions within the UK & Republic of Ireland.  

02/01/07 - A very Happy New Year as CLC clinch further Smart media continuity orders in excess of 1,000,000 pieces.

28/05/04 - CLC (UK) Ltd - of Loughborough, Leicestershire report continuing good fortune in the ever immerging RFID & AIDC market place.

Having started converting bespoke Smart Media some 5 years ago they report a dramatic increase in activity over the last period. This constituted 60% of their growth over the last financial year & is likely to grow significantly during the next period with forward orders already in place.

Indeed CLC have done more than 6-9 months than the previous 5 years.

  01/05/05 - Technical Seminar (June 9th, Northampton)

Following the sheer volume of interest shown at the IPIA Conferance 28th April, the Smart Label Consortium are to hold a workshop as part of the IPIA Technical Seminar Programme. This will feature applications, case studies, demonstrations & the opportunity to view some of the read / write hand held units together with various samples of Smart media incl.

28/04/04 - IPIA AGM & Conference - Grantham, Lincs, April 28th 2004.

Smart Label Solutions consortium members & associates will be presenting at this prestigious event.

Associate member - David Hyslop from T.I. Northhampton, will head up the presentations with a comprehensive over view of RFID - (Radio frequency identification). David will be ably backed up by fellow SLS members -   founder member of the SLS Consortium   - Nick Geraghty of CLC (UK) Ltd. who will be giving a novel demonstration together with associate member Jon Parsell from RFID Components Ltd.

All of the above will be available during the interval to field any questions and to illustrate case studies.

25/03/04 - PIRA feature the Consortium

The consortium has drawn the interest of PIRA - (the former printing industries research association) with two articles.

One features the formation of the Smart Label Solution consortium itself under the e publication Brand Protection News. Whilst the other refers to recent developments with a leading internation textile operation with whom the consortium has been developing a project over the last 6 months to combat conterfeit goods & automated validation of goods received.
